Tank GirlPlot: The year is 2033 and a humongous comet smashed into the earth (I guess 2000 went off without a hitch). This destroys the climate and it hasn't rained in 11 years. Needless to say, a maniacal villian control Water & Power, the local monopoly. Our hero (the very attractive, imho, Lori Petty) has to save the planet from the company. Based on a comic. Review: Very interesting idea. A cult sensation. The characters are dynamic and interesting (well, maybe not that dynamic). My personal favorite is a Ripper who is Jack Kerouac reincarnated. Filled with humor and action. The light lesbian scene was a definite plus. As you might have guessed there is also a tank involved in the movie. Includes a rockin sound track (Belly, Bjork, Ice-T, Veruca Salt, L7, and many more). Worth the 1hour 45 minutes. If you don't like a mix of annimation in your movie you may want to skip this one.
