"The Warlord" (1965)Plot: Chuck Heston and Richard Boone star as two Norman warriors in 11th C. Flanders. Chuck takes a fancy to a peasant gal he meets, and decides to invoke "le droit du seigneur," a charming medieval custom whereby the lord of the land gets to have the wedding night with the bride, who afterwards is turned over to the peasant groom. (Harvey Korman: "It's good to be the king.") War ensues when Chuck decides he ain't givin' her back. Review: If this isn't a rugby cult movie, I haven't seen one. Reviewed by: Wes Clark
