SVRFC Email Notice: 09/05/08. Our run for the Championship starts tomorrow Come one, come all! Scioto Valley begins its Fall campaign this Saturday, September 6th on our home grounds at Rhodes Park. We would like to invite (in no particular order) each and every alum, fan, wife, relative, girlfriend, friend of a girlfriend, social member, hall of famer, friend, ex-wife, one night stand, pet, child, and all other rugby enthusiasts to come out and support your team as we take on the Louisville RFC and Marion RFC.
This will be a historic day for Scioto Valley as we kick things off with the inaugural game of our newly formed DIII team. This game kicks off at 12:00 noon against Marion and promises to set the hard hitting standard for the day. Then at 1:30, the intensity level rises as our top team faces off in its first step toward a National Championship against our long time rivals from the south. Followed directly by our third side facing off against the Louisville seconds. This will be our new club members first chance to show what they can do and to make a name for themselves. And to top it all off, we end the day with a match social at our Sponsor Luckys Stout House for food and drinks. We hope to see you there.
